Benefits Drive Business

April 5th, 2009

If you want to increase your business revenues, and who doesn’t, you must increase the perceived value of your product or services.  The best way to do this is to take some time to identify and really focus on the benefits your product/service provides to your customers.  We as business owners tend to focus on the features.

Features tell, but it’s the BENEFITS that SELL

All products or services you offer have:

  •         Features,  We love these, the facts and specifications, what it does.
  •         Benefits,     Our customers love these, short statements  about how product fills a need, makes your customer, feel or look better, healthier, smarter or more attractive.

As an example, let’s look at MILA by LifeMax.

Key Feature………Raw Unprocessed Whole Food, The World’s Richest and Safest source of Omega-3 Fatty Acids, with FDA Food classification.

Now while this statement is true and factual, only the most targeted consumer will know what you are talking about, never mind become a customer.

Key Benefits….  I have a food product that incorporates easily into any diet.  That will decrease your LDL cholesterol and Blood pressure making your heart healthier!  You can get the nutrition that 98% of the population is lacking, and easily get the Omega-3s that will have a major benefit to your health!

Again, while these statements are true and factual, it now appeals to a much wider customer base.  Why, because we showed how it fill a need.  People are busy - easy , decreases LDL (a major problem), which increases health.  Finally, you are offering them something before 98% of the population.  People want to be first and best.

Think about the main benefit that your product or service offers.  Make sure your benefit includes language   that appeals to your customer’s emotions and how your product/service will improve their lives.

By doing this you will increase your customer base immediately, as well as being able to increase the number of referrals you receive.  Again, people want to be the first and they like people to know they were first.  That means referrals.

Can MILA help ADHD

April 2nd, 2009

Studies have confirmed there is a connection between omega-3 fatty acid deficiency and ADHD.  Specialists now believe many childhood behavior and learning problems may be associated with Omega-3 deficiencies.  Children with ADHD, compared with non-ADHD children had much lower blood levels of DHA, an omega-3 fatty acid necessary for normal function of the eyes and the cerebral cortex.

This deficiency has a greater impact on males because their requirements for essential fatty acids tend to be, much higher. Boys are diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder at a much higher rate than girls.  In the past children have usually been put on a medication such as ritalin, which in my experience has it’s own issues.  Better nutrition may be an option to be looked at, to start at least.

The typical American diet is highly deficient in Omega-3s.  Parents of ADHD children should include food high in Omega-3 fatty acids daily.  Since Omega-3’s cannot be produced by the human body, it must be included in the diet.  The problem here is that many kids will not eat fish or take fish oil, not to mention the possible concerns of mercury.  Many people use flax, which must be ground fresh or it can turn rancid.  Flax is also not recommended for pregnant or nursing mothers.

The plant source with highest and safest levels of Omega-3’s content is MILA, by LifeMax.  With 3,000mg of Omega-3 per serving.

MILA, by LifeMax is a raw whole food that is tasteless and odorless, and can be incorporated into virtually any diet.  MILA is rich in Omega-3s, anti-oxidants, fiber and protein.   Diets high in Omega-3s have been shown to help lower cholesterol; nearly 98% of the population has diets deficient in this essential nutrient that the human body can not produce on its own.

MILATM by LifeMax is categorized a whole food by the FDA with no restrictions. It is the only delivery source of Omega 3’s with a recommended daily allowance (RDA). This is the healthiest and safest natural food source on the planet.

MILA Improves Muscle Recovery

March 30th, 2009

Summer, time to go outside, work in the yard, go for walks, chase kids around the neighborhood, play some tennis or softball.  Next morning, you are plagued with sore muscles to say the least.

Even if you do workout on a regular basis, most people will experience re-discovering forgotten muscles pushed by new activities.  It happens when muscles are pushed well past what are used to, good news is this is how muscle grows.  The old adage ‘no pain-no gain’ muscle breaks down to build up.  Bad news, pain while muscles go through a recovery period in which they are rebuilding.

Muscle recovery can be a limiting factor, even to the most physically fit people.  Not being able to extend their training regimen because their muscles simply can not recover fast enough.

Proper hydration is a major factor in recovery time, or more importantly how fast muscle will break down.  I have found that MILA by LifeMax will significantly improve muscle recovery time by improving hydration.  MILA will absorb 12 times it’s weight in water, thus prolonging hydration.  This increases the efficiency in the utilization of bodily fluids, maintaining the electrolyte balance.

Many runners in particular have found increased endurance, leading to longer workouts.  Weight trainers find diminished recovery time leads to increased reps and sets.

Loaded with Omega-3’s, Fiber, Antioxidants and many other vital nutrients, Mila offers a variety of opportunities to improve your overall health and well being.  Including, joint lubrication, lowers lactic acid buildup in muscles and  reduces muscle soreness and speeds rejuvenation.  Mila is a raw whole food product that easily in corperates into any diet.

MILA contains

700%   more Omega-3 than Atlantic salmon

500%   more Calcium than milk

500%   more Protein than kidney beans

200%   more Iron than spinach

100%   more Potassium than bananas

100%   more Fiber than bran flakes

300%   more Selenium than flax seed

800%   more Phosphorus than whole milk

1400% more Magnesium than broccoli

More Antioxidants than blueberries

NWM Questions

March 11th, 2009

In the Network Marketing industry we sometimes have to answer questions by our prospects and distributors.  Many of these questions may come from misconceptions of networking, going back several decades, possibly started by people who did not find success, or even heard about it second or third hand.

This reminds me of the game we played when we were young, where someone whispered a sentence to one person, who whispered it to the next, and so on…..  Usually by the time it got to the last person, the person who started it, the sentence had little to no resemblance to the original.

I always am very up front with people so they have no surprises, and that I am offering a business opportunity, that can be very lucrative.

I tell them that the industry has changed dramatically and hundreds of thousands of people from around the world join monthly.  I then invite them to see what we have, do their due diligence because I felt the same way at one time.  They have the opportunity to be part of a quickly expanding global company.  If you don’t see the value, that’s fine, but you will never find value in anything if you don’t look.

This industry offers anybody access to:

Coaching by industry leaders at no cost.

Leveraged income that can grow while you still keep your job.

Working with people that have the same goals as you.

With the world financial climate the way it is, many people are looking for another income source, many others have lost their primary income.  Most people would rather have a hand up, rather than a hand out.  This industry offers that, and so much more.  Be sure to look around this site for more info, and as always - Promote Yourself!

Why Network Marketing

February 18th, 2009

Network marketing has over 30 million US distributors and is growing by an average of 22%. Warren Buffett endorses the industry and is acquiring companies, as is Richard Branson this should tell you about the timing!

We have the housing market imploding, bail outs setting records, uncertainty in the stock market, baby boomers are having their personal retirement plans vanish and need some way to more income. Is that enough? Well, how about these same baby boomers and their health? What else are they all concerned about? Their health!

The network marketing industry is a very valid option, and being a part of it is just smart. It’s putting yourself in a position in front of a starving crowd, it’s taking advantage of Global Trends- it’s just smart.

How then, do you choose between over 3000 companies in the network marketing?

Let’s think about the health and wellness issue relating to the baby boomers again.  What if you had a product or group of products that they wanted and or needed and could only get from you? What if you had products that addressed their health and wellness concerns? Such as poor nutrition, our diets are deficient of many essential nutrients such as Omega-3s.  Poor indoor air quality, is it any wonder more kids have asthma than ever before? The companies we’re involved with specifically rank as premier network marketing companies in the industry.  LifeMax I believe will break records around the world.  EcoQuest, is the world leader in air purification.

Network marketing is not only a good way to move product from manufacturer to consumer; it’s an excellent way to live and the best way to earn extra income, which can actually change your life!

Statins and Alzheimer’s

February 12th, 2009

A new study finds that statin drugs may not reduce the risk of Alzheimer’s disease.  There are also many reports of statin-induced memory loss, confusion, disorientation and fatigue

Even temporary amnesia has been associated with statin use.

One reported case involves Flight surgeon and NASA astronaut Dr. Duane Graveline reported that he lost all concept of time and was amnesic for almost an entire day after starting on statin drugs to combat elevated cholesterol. The entire time-frame vanished from his memory. Fortunately, this was temporary, and he remembered everything again.

It appears that statin drugs interfere with synaptic function, which is necessary for brain communication.A loss of synaptic function may signal the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease.

It would appear that while statins may be necessary for some, with elevated cholesterol levels, other non- prescription options, such as a healthier diet may be helpful.

Diets high in Omega-3s have been shown to help lower cholesterol, nearly 98% of the population have diets deficient in this essential nutrient.
