This weeks T-N-T  to help you explode your business.  ( Tuesday’s Networking Tips )

By coming on too strong or insincere in a presentation you may arouse fear, anger and even distrust, making it almost impossible to repair the damage and have a successful presentation.

Every word we use will create images in the minds of the people we speak with, choose your words carefully as those images can either help or hurt.

Sometimes, it can be very effective to refuse to give someone a presentation when they are expecting one.  This will create curiosity and anticipation, never give a presentation on first contact.

Business seminars and conferences have little value themselves. The value is seriously  applying what you learn to what you want to accomplish.

Step by step! Don’t look at doing a project or business as the whole thing at once, think step by step.  Little steps laid out will get you there.  “Rome was not built in a day”.

Tuesday’s Networkers Tips

Don’t let your pride get in the way. It only takes a moment to apologize so that a relationship that might otherwise have been destroyed for a lifetime can continue to grow

One of the hardest things about being successful is finding people who say they are happy for you and they really mean it!

Don’t be inflexible. When things are not going your way, it’s time to change direction.  Change can propel you.

When you are talking with prospects, don’t talk about what you think is important. Talk about what THEY think is important.  They want to know ‘what’s in it for me?’

When someone says they don’t have any problems, you know they have have a big problem.

Networking Tips 12-16

There is no real competition in most home businesses because most of those people are playing, “follow the follower”. Instead of following a proven leader, or becoming the leader themselves

It’s easier to inspire a group of people than it is a single individual.

If everybody you talk with buys your product or joins your business, you are NOT talking to enough people.

You can easily gain and maintain control of a conversation or presentation when you know how to ask good questions.  The type of questions that are designed to lead people in a specific direction.

Nothing can take the place of experience. If reading a book, going to a seminar or listening to a CD was all that we needed to be successful, then we would be earning a very small wage.

Tuesday Tips 12-1

This week’s generic tips for Networking Professionals.

Ideas, business strategies and concepts can be deceptive and misleading. Test them on a small scale before rolling them out on a large scale.

Prospects are usually ready to initially pounce on you and say no. In the beginning of your sales call, ask a few questions that are designed to get them to say yes.

A good way to get a prospect to open up is to use the ‘echo’ method.  Simply repeat the last three or four words they say.  This will show that you are listening and will prompt them to open up further.

A powerful force in selling is the ability to get others to do it for you.  Preferably the person you are selling to.

The moment a man opens his mouth and begins to talk he reveals to the world who he is and where he belongs

Tips 11-3

Tell people what they’re going to learn from you; teach them; remind them what you’ve taught them.

When you get rejected and humiliated by prospects, it is actually good training, it helps you be a better trainer and coach.

A sales script is merely words in print until it has been tested in the real world.

When marketing your business you will encounter people who complain to you. Thank them for their complaint; let them know they just improved your business by bringing this issue to your attention.

If you want to be a good leader, sometimes you have to be tough. You must hold your people accountable. You must expect certain things from them, if they are not performing let them know.

This week’s generic tips for Networkers!

The most powerful marketing tool in business is credibility.  One of the best ways to build credibility is to get testimonials.  One of the easiest ways to get testimonials is to simply ask for them.  Most people are happy to give a good testimonial…if they are satisfied!

Want to know a fast way to build a business? Consistently get in front of people, including large audiences.

The most common mistakes made in building a business are not qualifying and overselling.  Not everybody will be interested, those that are will sell themselves, if they need more info, they will ask.

Even more important than making money and helping other people is taking care of your own health.

Without accurate information we cannot make wise choices or good business decisions.  Always strive to get AND give accurate information.

Tuesday tips 10-20

If you lack confidence, you either lack training, coaching and experience or you could simply be in the wrong type of business.

Once someone completely trusts you, you can sell him almost anything at any
price.  Never abuse that trust, or it will be gone forever!

Master the basics and the complicated becomes uncomplicated.  Seems simple but the ‘basics’ is your foundation.

Most people decide quit right before they are about to experience success. Obviously, not knowing success is just around the bend.  Don’t be one of them.  Keep on pushing, you can do it!

 I would like to recommend a book this week,  The 4-Hour Work Week,  by Timothy Ferriss  The 4-Hour Work Week explains what a lifestyle entrepreneur is and why you should want to become one.  I have this on audio, and is a great listen.

Tuesdays Tips 9-29

This week’s generic tips for Networkers and others.

If you want to raise your conversion rates make your sales presentations short and to the point. People hate long sales presentations, with long presentations people get confused and a confused person never buys.

Design your conversations in such a way that they create curiosity, and wait for prospect to ask you about your product or service.

The starting point for all achievement begins in the brain. See yourself today doing the things you will be doing once you are successful.

Slow down. Take some time and do something nice for yourself. It is important to have balance as part of a successful life.

Recognition is a great motivator. Every person craves recognition whether it’s a child showing off, or an adult winning an award.

The best sales strategies don’t come from management, they come from the salespeople who are in the field selling.  Regardless of what management says.

Your confidence will be in direct proportion to the skills, knowledge, and experiences you acquire.

9-15 Tuesday Tips

This week’s tips for Networkers!

The single most important element in marketing or a sales presentation is
credibility, not what you say it is, but what you can document or prove.

A large goal reached almost never looks like the original goal.  Your goals will change and evolve as you go.

You do not need to have a major goal to be successful, many times a series of smaller goals will help keep you focused.

Great ideas are easy to find. Getting people to take action on them is the hard part.

Momentum is what happens when you take a small baby step and then you take two……

One of the signs of a good manager is the ability to listen to all sides of an issue or a dispute before you make a decision.
