<p><strong><em>There are certain truths about failure that successful people seem to grasp and unsuccessful people have trouble with: </em></strong></p>
<p><strong>A certain amount of failure</strong> is inevitable and acceptable, especially in a new endeavor. It comes with the territory, don&#8217;t let it stop you.</p>
<p><strong>Always make success your primary goal. </strong> Loose the negative self-talk!</p>
<p><strong>Everyone fails at some point.</strong>  Even if it is your fault, don&#8217;t let it bother you too much, learn and move on!</p>
<p><strong>Certain rewards are hidden in your failures</strong>. Remember your errors and learn from them. When your subordinates fail, remember that you have failed, also.</p>
<p><strong>When you do fail,</strong> your future successes will feel even more significant.</p>
<p><strong>It&#8217;s better to fail in the pursuit</strong> of something magnificent than to succeed at something that has little meaning.  Don&#8217;t be afraid of big goals!</p>
<p><strong>Failure happens</strong> but is not destined. Give it your best shot, and keep going!</p>

<p><strong>A person who is</strong> working a business and not getting referrals is not giving enough care to the people who can give referrals, or they are simply not asking for referrals.</p>
<p><strong>Before doing on a presentation</strong>, mentally prepare yourself by role-playing in your head the possible different outcomes and how you can handle each of them.</p>
<p><strong>You want to be successful</strong>? Know what you want. Find out what it takes to get it.<br />

<p><strong>Stop seeking the approval</strong> of other people!  Most people are so afraid of a prospect, friend or family member telling them NO, that they freeze up and basically choose failure instead of success.</p>
<p><strong>Productivity vs.  Activity.</strong>  If you spend more of your time on activities such as checking email every 20 minutes, instead of productivity, actually focusing on <em><strong>R</strong>evenue <strong>P</strong>roducing <strong>A</strong>ctivities</em> you&#8217;ll get to a point that you can become stagnant in your business.</p>
<p><strong>Nothing will stimulate</strong> and excite your imagination like an idea that has begun to manifest it&#8217;s self into reality.</p>
<p><strong>Have you ever noticed</strong> that sometimes after successfully reaching a business goal, there seems to be a letdown within you? That&#8217;s because the real fun takes place in the challenge of the journey reaching that goal.  Keep your goals fresh!</p>

<p><strong>Communicating with people</strong>.  That is what we get paid to do, just this one thing, will determine 95% of your paycheck.</p>
<p><strong>When you are speaking to a prospect or client</strong>, do not make it seem as though you are desperate.  If they feel that you desperately need them,<br />
 that will put them in a position of power.  Instead, the prospect should be made to feel as though you are interviewing him, doing him a favor.  You are looking for specific qualities, such as honesty, dependability, and willingness to be coached.</p>
<p><strong>When using mass media</strong>, take the time to get your message or advertisement right.  You can adapt one form of media to many others, That letter that you&#8217;re sending out, the PPC ad on google, radio or TV, teleseminar and your website.  They will give the same message every time it always is consistent, and it always delivers exactly what it&#8217;s been told to.<br />
<strong>As you go about your day</strong>, notice how often you think about situations in a win-lose rather than win-win scenario.  If you look for win-win answers you will usually find that it is actually better for long term business.   <br />

<p><strong>When a successful person</strong> enters the room, he projects a powerful energyregardless of how he is dressed, what he says, or what he does.  </p>
<p><strong>Don&#8217;t just read a good self-help book once.</strong>  You may be inspired, but read it<br />
over and over, study it and master it. These books are resources!  When possible get the book on audio also.</p>
<p><strong>The more needs a qualified</strong> prospect expresses to you, the better the chances are of getting them to do business with you.</p>
<p><strong>Make the commitment</strong> that you are going to build a referral only business, or at least primarily referrals.</p>
<p><strong>If you think a prospect might</strong> object to part of your presentation, don&#8217;t wait for them, bring the objection up before he does and present it as a benefit.</p>

<p><strong>By coming on too strong</strong> or insincere in a presentation you may arouse fear, anger and even distrust, making it almost impossible to repair the damage and have a successful presentation.</p>
<p><strong>Every word we use</strong> will create images in the minds of the people we speak with, choose your words carefully as those images can either help or hurt.</p>
<p><strong>Sometimes, it can be very effective</strong> to refuse to give someone a presentation when they are expecting one.  This will create curiosity and anticipation, never give a presentation on first contact.</p>
<p><strong>Business seminars and conferences</strong> have little value themselves. The value is seriously  applying what you learn to what you want to accomplish.</p>
<p><strong>Step by step!</strong> Don&#8217;t look at doing a project or business as the whole thing at once, think step by step.  Little steps laid out will get you there.  &#8220;Rome was not built in a day&#8221;.</p>
